Our first River Map Mantle Piece is finished. We started with the Lower Bighorn River, MT, from Bighorn Access to Mallard’s Landing.

The piece is v-carved out of Baltic Birch wood and measures 12.5 x 58 inches. At last, our original river maps will be available in large sizes for your fireplace mantle, lodge or cabin wall, retail shop, or home. Whether you fish, paddle, or hike, you will no longer have to leave your favorite river behind. Now, you can give it a place of honor in your dwelling where it will be a conversation starter and trip planner.

The long mantle piece is perfect for those river sections that have very few creeks running into them. A preview of our 23 x 29 inch Mantle Piece will be available soon. This size will be perfect for all those rivers that like to meander and have an abundance of tributaries.

It has been a tricky business, but, at last, Dan has been able to take an existing map that he designed for engraving on the laser engraver and convert it over to the software for the new CNC. Therefore, like all our other products, your will be able to choose your favorite river map for your River Map Mantle Piece. And, of course, if we don’t have the river, Dan can design it!
